Our Mission Is To Build Bridges that Continually Connect People to God and to Each Other

We want to create irresistible environments and experiences that cause un-churched people and under-churched people to want to orbit their entire lives around a church that is having a local, regional, and global impact for Christ while positioning all people to take next steps with God. We will do this by multiplying our mission locally, regionally, and internationally by developing “Common Ground” locations that serve the heart of communities and contribute to their overall health and vitality by serving the distinct needs of those communities. At the end of the day, we’ll answer this question: How is our (The Bridge’s) being in this community making this community better and making people’s lives better?

We want to connect you with people who are at your stage of life, facing the things you face, willing to walk life with you and to show you the amazing love of God. We have events literally every day of the week to help you get connected. Whether it’s the Sunday morning experience, a Night of Worship, Middle or High School Environments, a Kid’s class, a men’s or women’s breakfast or event, even our Zumba classes bring people together. Get connected today.

We offer a variety of classes and seminars that are designed to help you grow and develop into all God would have you to be. We also offer Life Groups. Life Groups provide the best opportunity for people to connect and get to know others who want to grow in their faith while living life together and meeting together on a regular basis.

is a very intentional move both inside our church through the many serving opportunities that exists and outside the walls of our church and into the community and into the world where we can impart what God has done in us into the lives of others by being His hands and His feet in touching the world. We do this by investing our head, our heart, and our hands and our resources. We want to be known for our extravagant generosity in improving the quality of people’s lives both inside and outside of the church.

Here’s the bottom line: we want to show people the love of Jesus in ways that they can see, feel and touch. We want to bring healing, hope, and love to those we meet. To do that, we’ve got to get out of the four walls of “the church” and bring the church to the world locally, regionally, and internationally. We have partnered with different churches and organizations that are doing just that – bringing the love of Jesus to the world. Want a simple place to start? How about inviting someone to connect at The Bridge with you this Sunday?

We are about a relationship with God through Christ and not dogma or religion. Ultimately, everything we do is for this purpose: That Christ be lifted up and people be pointed to God.

The Bible is the foundation of everything we’re about – how we live and how we love – and we teach it in a way that is life-giving and transformational not judgmental and divisive.

It is God’s love that transforms the human heart. We’re not about working hard at a list of do’s and don’ts — we’re about falling in love with God and, in turn, loving each other that way. This is reality with God, not God without reality.

We believe God has uniquely designed every human being to make a contribution to something bigger than themselves. We will help you discover how God has uniquely designed you to make a difference – no matter who you are or where you’ve been.

People have all kinds of needs and we want to meet them whether they’re connected to our church or not.

Whenever we get together, we want people to be inspired by God to live a life of faith, hope, passion, and excitement.

Life happens beyond Sunday. We believe sustained life change happens best in the context of community. In life groups, people study God’s Word together and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It’s also where we pray, care for one another, and are missed if we don’t show up.

We believe in leadership by the people, not just a select few. Identifying, equipping, and empowering people to lead is a key part of sustaining our growth and realizing our mission.

All around us, there are churches and movements that love God and that are attempting to make a difference. We are committed to joining hands with others so that we can accomplish our mission.

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe.  He has eternally existed in three personalities: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are co-equal and are one God. Genesis 1:1, 26, 27, 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; I Peter 1:2; II Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Matthew 1:22, 23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; Hebrews 4:14-15; I Corinthians 15:3,4; Romans 1:3,4; Acts 1:9-11; I Timothy 6:14, 15; Titus 2:13

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily. II Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16, 17; Acts 1:8, I Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians; 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:18

The bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture or error. II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20, 21; II Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105, 160, 12:6, Proverbs 30:5

People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude that separates people from God and causes many problems in life. Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1,2

Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self- improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence. John 3:16; John 2:25, John 5:11-13, Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15, Matthew 1:8; Matthew 2:44-46
